MAKE COMMITMENT

ALL IN COMMITMENT

ALL IN is a two-year vision and generosity initiative to expand our ministry impact here, near and far. God has placed our church in a very unique position as the West Valley rapidly grows around us. We have an incredible opportunity and responsibility to respond! Let’s honor Jesus just as the early church did by trusting in God’s power, being generous and boldly reaching those in our community and around the world.

COMMITMENT CARD & GIFT CHART

This sample card is meant to be a way to plan how much you will give to the ALL IN initiative over the next two years. Start with intentional prayer and conversations to help discern what God is calling you to do.

This sample gift chart is a discipleship tool as you pray and discern how God would ask you to give during this time. Let it be something that inspires and challenges you toward greater generosity for Christ’s Kingdom as we seek to give it all for Him.

JOURNEY OF GIVING

Giving is not one-size-fits-all. Each of us is called and stretched differently, and God uses every stage to grow us into His likeness. Reflect on where you are and where God is leading you next in your generosity journey.

Initial Giver
Takes an initial step of faith by starting to give for the first time out of a response to God's Word about giving. Moves forward by trusting God and church leaders with that gift. (2 Corinthians 8:7-11)

Consistent Giver
Makes a decision to give faithfully and regularly, building the discipline of giving regularly. Often someone will set up an online recurring gift to set a consistent patten. Non-online givers can be consistent as well; it just requires more discipline. (2 Corinthians 9:6-8)

Intentional Giver
Begins to prioritize giving alongside other expenses, becoming intentional about generosity in relationship to other ways they spend and use money. This may be the point of intentionality about when someone begins to tithe (giving 10% of income), being intentional about giving a certain amount/percentage to honor God in response to how He provides. (Malachi 3:10)

Surrendered Giver
Sees all resources as God's and gives in a way that transforms their life. Spending and saving serve generosity, not the other way around. This giver seeks to honor God with 100% of what He has given them the responsibility to steward. (Matthew 6:19-24)

Extravagant Giver
Thinks long term, making major life choices-like home, vehicles, investments or savings-based on generosity goals that extend beyond the present. Seeks to increase generosity capacity. The question changes from: "How much should I give?" to "How much of God's money does he want me to keep?" (1 Timothy 6:6-19)
